Our Year 8 students have just returned from a fantastic three day trip to France. Taking an overnight ferry, the group arrived at Chateau de la Baudonniere in Normandy to beautiful sun-drenched french weather. Activities included tacking an assault course, bread making, making sandcastles on the beach (with historical accuracy as overseen by Mr Champness), a costume evening, enthusiastic snail tasting, fencing, circus skills, french food sampling, shopping, a talent show, bhangra dancing, football, rugby, and even a tidy dormitory competition. The chateau hosts were particularly impressed by the children's resilience, energy, enthusiasm and camaraderie - they were all great ambassadors for All Hallows.
